The RP2350 can boot Linux-NOMMU on its RISC-V cores and it can drive HDMI: two unusual features on a roughly $2 microcontroller. We asked CopperPilot to put everything both experiments need on one board in KiCad.

HDMI, WiFi, onboard battery charging, SD card, USB-C, and barrel-jack power. A few nudges later it was a clean four-layer layout with all of it actually fit.

The interesting part is not that the MCU is cheap. It is that the supporting circuitry showed up as a real board, not a block diagram.
