We built a Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 carrier in KiCad with CopperPilot: Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI, and USB-C power on a 6-layer board.
The layout is not a napkin sketch. It has 158 nets, 21 components, 125 vias, 7 copper zones, and 9 differential pairs routed and length-matched to spec. That is the same bar we hold on production work: the board has to be fabricatable, not just impressive in a render.
CopperPilot lives inside KiCad and Altium because that is where the design already is. The point is not a new platform. It is getting a carrier like this from intent to a board you can send out.
